Bernadette Halliday

Bernadette, also known as Bernie, is manager of Archer Group's accounting and tax department and is the firm's senior reviewer. 

Bernadette began her career as an auditor in 1989. she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Western Washington University and received her CPA designation soon after graduation. Bernadette is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington Society for Certified Public Accountants. 

Born and raised in Skagit County, Bernie comes from a large family of eight children. Perhaps that's where she developed her sense of humor, her patience and her ability to tackle a project and create organization from chaos. She works faithfully with community organizations including acting President of Burlington Rotary, Camp Fire, Boys and Girls Club Treasurer, past director of the Burlington Berry Dairy Day Parade and participation in the Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity programs. In her "free" time, she enjoys bowling, golf and between her nieces and nephews, she can be seen cheering at the sidelines of nearly every sporting event the school system has to offer! 

Bernie is a certified Quickbooks Pro^® Advisor and teaches seminars in its application. She is highly skilled in designing accounting systems, preparing budgets and evaluating fee structures for businesses and in retirement planning to include pension selection.

Bernadette is a superb mentor and is valuable to her clients in numerous ways, including business planning, entity selection and formation, software selection, accounting system design and implementation, tax planning and compliance. One of her many talents includes empowering her clients by assisting them in defining accounting goals, mentoring in ways to organize their work product and demystifying reports so the client can efficiently achieve accuracy and consistency in their accounting.
