Mr.
Olson is the audit supervisor and a business valuation expert at Archer Group.
Rich graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Economics/Accounting and for over thirty years has conducted and supervised
annual audits and reviews of organizations including municipal corporations,
government agencies, community associations, nonprofit organizations, government
grant programs, and with industries such as lumber, electronics, construction,
maritime, food service and retail.
Rich received his ABV, Accredited Business
Valuation, designation in 2000 and is a member of both the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants and the Washington Society of Certified Public
Accountants. He also volunteers his time to assist the Evergreen AIDS Foundation
with its accounting.
Richard was raised on a dairy farm in
Everson, where, at a very early age, he learned the meaning of hard work.
He attended local schools, graduated from
Western
Washington
University
and joined the U.S. Navy prior to beginning his accounting career.
Rich devotes the same work
ethic that was instilled in him in his early years in Everson to provide
exceptional service and to exceed his clients' expectations. He is well
respected for integrating his extensive business and financial experience into
the preparation of client financial statements. He is highly skilled in
designing accounting systems, preparing budgets, and evaluating fee structures
for businesses and government agencies. Rich has also performed considerable
litigation work, including expert testimony and his experience in business
valuation work includes large company sales, stock transfers, and divorce.
